今月の頭に、静岡のポポンデッタで買ってきた京葉線205系。
たしか昨年の12月、いや夏にも売れ残っていた商品なので、早々に売りたかったのか、10両14000円だった。
元々、京葉線は収集対象では無く、201系が一本いる程度だったが、乗り入れの武蔵野線」は収集対象なので、いずれ集めたいとは思っていた。
ケースの方は「10-184 205SERIES E.C.（KEIYO LINE COLOR）」の表記からわかるとおり、そうとう古い製品とわかる。それが横から見える状態でラッピングしてあり、「ドア窓は大窓」だったので、「メルヘン顔」だと思っていた。
しかし動作テストする段階で、異変に気がつく・・・。
「なんでオリジナル顔なんだ？もしかして帯張り替えか？それともまさか・・・あれか？」
じつはお店の人も、なんとか売りたかったのか、普通剥がさない値段表記（動作・ボディ・付属品）を剥がしている。
どちらにしても、「オリジナル顔の大窓」は、レアなので購入することにした。
列車に乗ってから、人もほとんどいないタイミングを見計らい、先頭車を確認する。
「帯は塗装」「千ケヨの表記」「クハ205-103」改造には見えない。
これはもしやあれか？

元々は南武線（ナハ6→ナハ7→ナハ16）に新規投入で導入された編成で、総武緩行線東中野での衝突事故で廃車になった201系と103系の代替えで、京浜東北線の205系から4両を貰い10連化して総武緩行線の「ミツ12編成（→ﾐﾂ21→ﾐﾂ20→ﾐﾂ14）」となる。その後E231導入時に、京葉線へ転属し「ｹﾖ21」となる。
さらに、埼京線の踏切事故でダメージの受けたモハユニットに、代わりのモハユニットをあげて、一年休車になり、その後VVVF改造され武蔵野線へ転属し「ケヨM36」となる。
波瀾万丈の人生を送った、隠れた205系の経緯を持つ車両だったりする。
写真は、103系の引退の時に、片っ端から撮影していたため、たまたま有った。
話を模型に移します。
南武線の205系、じつは「列車無線アンテナの位置が真ん中」になっている。
ここまで再現しているのは、間違いなく改造では無い・・・。
模型を始めた頃の2008年7月に、部品を買いに「ホビーセンター東京」に出かけた。
まだ古い建物の頃だった。
そこに「京葉線205系大窓ボディー」なるものが、売られていた。
ボディーだけで3600円（たしかそのくらい）、それも「メルヘン顔に乗せ替えて楽しんでください」の内容だったと記憶している。
模型始めたばかりでは、当然買うような代物では無かったのでスルー・・・。今だったらわからないorz
帰宅後その製品の車番を調べたら、「クハ205-103/クハ204-103」だった。
そうそのレアボディーを組み込んだ編成だったのだ。
しかし、製品自体は、かなり古い「メルヘンがベース」なようで、パンタ形状も下に板バネが入っているタイプ。
昔確認しているのですが、パンタ取り付け穴が、現行とは違う縦方向のため、互換性は無い。
最悪、屋根ごと交換する必要になる。
そして連結器も「カトーカプラーN」で、密連タイプでは無い。
もちろん車輪も、店で売っていたとは思えないほど、汚れていた。

思うに、基本セットに、基本セットばらしのモハユニット2両＋サハを組み込んだのかなと思った。

まぁフルセットなので、手を入れていくのには安い価格でした。
・・・店員焦っていたのか、逆さに入れてますね（笑）
いつもの205系の手を入れていくメニューに加え、「カプラー変更」「車番変更」も追加になりますね。
探そうと思っても出てくる品では無い、それを安く手に入れたのは、神のお導きなのかもしれない
「京葉線を集めなさい！」という・・・
そしてスパイラルが始まるorz
先日現行の「E233系5000番台」も安く手に入れたし・・・。
もしかして、最新のTOMIX製205系も買えと言う事かorz
